Hello, dears!

First of all, I want to thank you, every single one of you, for the follow, likes, shares and comments. Also your patience and good vibes along my journey here at WP. Sorry, but there is no badge at 1500 followers.

So, I´ve been doing my little research and thinking the best way to pay off your continued support. As this blog seems to me a meeting point to many amazing bloggers, I should host “meet and greets” so you can find new blogs and bloggers to connect with.

What´s this meet and greets? A fun way to promote your blog. These are the core “rules”:

  1. Introduce yourself and tell us about your blog in the comment section. Share a link to your favorite post, a recent post, or anything you like.
  2. Check out the posts that have been shared in the comments already, this is about networking…

  1. Hello, I’m joliesattic.com. I now live in California and call myself a liberal conservative. That means l try to look at the whole picture. I prefer to live and let live but chafe when forced to conform against my own conscience. I am a passive person and cannot stand those rebels who feel they have to destroy things to be heard.
My blog has to do with whatever pops into my head and a good portion of it deals with my experiences both good and bad. I will share family issues and how I over came my PTSD from an abusive childhood. On occasion I will share the obstacles I encounter with trying to be a screenwriter. I’ve had a colorful life and it’s all out there. I hope you’ll visit.

    1. Welcome Jolie! I’m so glad you’ve decided to join us 😊
Beautiful presentation! I bet you aren’t happy with the latest riots against Trump. I think nobody likes that behavior 😫
      Big hug, David

  2. You are so right. They have reinvented the word “Ugly American” that was so popular in Europe when I visited many years ago. I remember how difficult it was to change people’s perception of us and now this. Sigh.

  3. Glad to see that I haven’t missed the Meet & Greet!

My name’s Josh, and I’m a graduate student in Northern California. I’m incredibly interested in big cat conservation, and accordingly blog mostly about big cats. But I also write about my adventures.

Speaking of which, I’m currently trying to put together a study in the South American country of Guyana. I’d be living with local people, most of them indigenous, and learning about their cultural and spiritual beliefs about jaguars. If you want to learn more about this project, feel free to visit the GoFundMe campaign I’ve set up for it:

I look forward to meeting you all!

      1. When I was a child there was a woman who worked with my father, whose husband kept several in cages in their home. No yard, no place for them to run. Being the free spirit that I am, it never felt right. I was a child and it was the 50’s but I knew.

      2. It makes me sad to hear that. Big cats don’t belong in cages: they belong in the wild. Besides, it’s just plain dangerous. No matter how close a person gets to their ‘pet’ tiger or jaguars, these are still powerful animals that could seriously hurt someone. Not to mention the fact that the exotic pet trade is a serious threat for some wild cats, most notably cheetahs. For all these reasons I can never support keeping big cats as pets: especially keeping them in cages.
