  1. Hermoso! And while I recognize that this quote most easily applies to relationships, I think it also has implications for how we organize our societies. It seems that we rely too much on our leaders to create a better world. When listening in on talks about changes that need to happen in American culture and politics, too often I’ve heard people ask, “But who’s going to lead us?” Or we become enthralled by the promises made by those who are running for office, expecting them to someone transform everything. And yet the change never comes.

My opinion is that far too many people are looking for the right leader, instead of trying to be the right leader. If we want more inclusive and honest societies, then it’s up to us to be inclusive and honest. If enough people start acting out the changes they want to see, then eventually our “leaders” will have no choice but to follow suit.

Sorry for the long response! Certain events in my country have prompted me to do a lot of reflection…

    1. Totally agree, my friend! We’ve heard the same pitch about change, justice, etc here in Spain. The Spanish Trump has been reelected after 125000 deads due to health services budget cuts.
Lack of culture and education all over the world is alarming :-S
      Take care, hugs!!
