  2. This quote rings so true in today’s society. We’re all very much wrapped up in our various electronics and such, that often times we’re not truly present. It’s more important, for example, to capture the perfect picture than it is to just enjoy the experience.

  3. It’s been like an ear worm lately (excuse the revolting, but perfect expression). Keeping my head in the moment is my greatest challenge as my body ages. Audible sigh. “So do not worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Living faithfully is a large enough task for today.” The Voice Mat 6:34 Great post, David!

    1. I like the expression, and love the quote 🙂 Thank you, Roo. There is a chinese proverb related, “enough is a feast”, so I guess we should take the advise and enjoy today 😉

  4. Reblogged this on Inner Ramblings Boulevard: and commented:
As we navigate our fast-paced lives, we often lament that there aren’t enough hours in the day to accomplish all our tasks. But what we really need to do is schedule moments of rest into our lives — Small pockets of time to simply let the mind disengage — to be in the moment.

Spend two minutes looking out the window; take a five minute walk for fresh air; or take ten minutes for a timed power nap.

Of course, this message is for me also, as I know fully well I belong in ‘workaholics anonymous’, but we can all take baby steps, right?

The following post emphasizes the value of being in the moment. Have a read… Enjoy! 🌷
