Halasana Chape´s style. Feel Good Inc.

“My job is to be fit and I’m really blessed that I get to go and work out and live a really healthy lifestyle”. Kerri Walsh

My job is not exactly to be fit but help you to be fit. I´m a yoga enthusiast but not a teacher. I´m still learning the infinite poses and the impossible Sanskrit names 🙂

As any given beginner, I do a lot of mistakes, like nominating bloggers with a big award free widget (I´m sorry). Please, visit a professional yoga site to keep safe 🙂

Yoga is my newest hobby. I´ve never felt something like a chakra. I think I don´t have any, but still yoga makes me Feel Good. I asked this morning to my friend Ndumiso for a good song for today. And that´s a connection because traditional music for meditation doesn´t work for me. Another warning that I´m not a good yogi example. How many do you need? Please, enjoy the song and my efforts, April 😀

Halasana or Plow pose “traditionally has been considered a finishing pose and is usually found near the end of an asana session” according to Yoga Journal.

Here we go! I find it perfect for dynamic stretching warm-up. Here is my sequence:

Empty part of white painted brick wall with wooden floor. 3d render
1.- Lying on my back, bent knees and feet on the floor.

I was not barefoot, because it´s winter, it´s cold, it´s my warm-up and I forgot.

2.- I push my feet away from the floor, squeeze my shoulder blades together to protect my neck, and help my injured back with my hands.

Another pearl: I don´t use a blanket or similar. I feel uncomfortable with it.

3.- I simply breathe in this position, until my hamstrings, glutes, and low back decide it´s time to touch the floor.

4.- When my toes touch the floor…

5.- I feel my lower back ready to start, without support 🙂

Halasana reduces my stress and fatigue like a magic anti-procrastinating pill. But it also stimulates me so it doesn´t help with my insomnia 🙂

Coming next, an ease routine for back pain, I didn´t forget 🙂

All suggestions, tips or disagreements are welcome!!!

  1. David, the Halasana doesn’t look like something I can do though I definitely want to try it… ALSO, I speed scrolled up and down the page (sequence) just so it would look like you were actually moving haha!

About nominating bloggers with a nominations free widget… I think I’m a culprit (embarrassed)… I should look out for that widget or whatever it’s called

    1. He he he, seated positions are difficult and sometimes painful for me so, I can´t tell 🙂 Try it, following the right instructions, with a blanket… it´s really fun!!
About the nominations, I try to be careful but I always discover a new way to do not notice 🙂

    1. Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can 🙂
I enjoy yoga attempts, so this post was really fun to do. I hope it´s fun for all of you too, with or without music 🙂
Please, don´t copy me because I do a lot of mistakes. Fitness exercises will be a different thing 😉
      Big hug, David
